Mr. Nagashima is going to be one of the jury members of the 9th Tokyo Arts Center Piano Competition. The preliminary round starts will be held at the end of August 2020, then st, 2nd, and final rounds are scheduled in between September 7 to September 15. The Gold Medal winner will receive $10,000 Cash prize and concert engagements, Silver and Bronze Medal winner will receive $3,000 and $1,000 plus a recital engagement.

Tatsuya announced an establishment of a new recording label "Raven Classical Recordings" with his partner William E. Trella, Jr. The label will be based in Los Angeles and Tokyo. Other than his own performances, the label will feature the recordings by some of the world's leading classical artists and ensembles. Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (London), St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra, Russian Federal Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine (Kiev Symphony Orchestra), Czech National Symphony Orchestra, Paul Freeman (conductor), Vakhtang Jordania (conductor), Kirill Rodin (cello), and Alexander Trostiansky (violin) . First release will be in the summer of 2020. The company will also seek to discover the emerging artists of the new generation and introduce them to the world. Mr. Nagashima was named as the new music director of the Lishmoa Institute of Music in Yokohama, Japan. Lishmoa Insititute of Music was established in April 1998 and quickly become one of the distinguished music schools in greater Tokyo area. Until his death in 2019, legendary pianist Jörg Demus was closely associated with the school as an Artist in Residence. Nagashima's appointment was to continue its legacy of the historical pianist and to develop the institution furthermore. For more information: www.lishumor.jp
